Yom HaZikaron Commemoration Ceremony –
Honoring Our Fallen Heroes, Living in Their Light
Tuesday, April 29, 6:30 - 8:00 PM
We invite you to join us in solemn remembrance and reflection as we come together to honor Israel's fallen heroes and victims of terror, including those tragically lost on October 7th and since.
Yom HaZikaron is a time to pause, honor, and reflect on the sacrifice of Israel’s fallen soldiers and victims of terror, and the deep impact it has on our nation's history and collective identity.
As we remember their legacy, we commit to living in their light, carrying their memory forward. During the ceremony, we will welcome 2 honored guests.
As a gesture of solidarity and remembrance, we invite attendees to wear white shirts, following the Israeli tradition on Yom HaZikaron.
Doors open at 6:00 PM; the program will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
Please arrive early and leave your bags at home. Registration is required.
Organized by the Weintraub Israel Center, a joint initiative of the Tucson J and Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona.
